We're at RailsConf Europe 2007
If you also happen to be attending this year’s RailsConf in Berlin, come say hello when you see Manfred or me running around.
Also, good news! While his keynote wasn’t too interesting, DHH did announce that the core team is preparing a Rails 2.0 preview release which they hope to get out by the end of the conference.

He did point out some nice new features, at least he was charming ;) ¶

Norbert means that the keynote wasn't that interesting if you've been on Edge for months. I can imagine that it was pretty cool for people on 1.2 or even 1.0. ¶

Did he say "_uck you" and "I don't owe you shizznit" again or was he nice and fluffly? ¶

No, he was just talking about Rails, not comparing it to other stuff. ¶

And to answer Julik's question more specifically, I thought he was very mild. Lots of the things to be opinionated about have been dealt with for a while now, hence the run-up to Two Point Oh I suppose. ¶
